Casarsa (2024)

The 23rd Annual Conference of the Societât Sientifiche e Tecnologjiche Furlane took place on Saturday 14 December 2024 in Casarsa, in the Council Chamber of Palazzo Burovich de Zmajevich, the seat of the Municipality, where a large audience gathered to attend the event.

The Conference opened with an introduction by Prof. Antonino Morassi, President of the SSTeF, and with words of welcome on behalf of the Municipality from the Deputy Mayor, Ermes Spagnol.

The Lectio Magistralis, greatly appreciated by all those present, was delivered by Eng. Giovanni Battista Colussi, President of “Colussi Ermes”, on the theme From tradition to innovation: innovative techniques designed to measure for the industrial washing of foodstuffs and of the equipment used in the food and pharmaceutical sectors. Eng. Colussi — upon whom the University of Udine conferred an Honorary Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering for his innovative inventions and designs — illustrated in his opening lecture to the Conference some of the many innovative solutions and inventions he has designed in the field of industrial washing.

Also greatly appreciated were the contributions presented after the opening lecture, in the Communications session, by Gianluigi Gallenti, Matteo Carzedda, Luca Iseppi and Sandro Sillani; Giulia Genuzio; Silla Stel, followed by the short video by Giulia Matellon; Francesco Pascoli; Franco Rosa; Rino Gubiani; Enrico Maiero; Lorenzo Marcolini; Sandro Fabbro.
