Articles in this section, written in Friulian and in English, must carry: a title, a running head (max. 45 characters), the author(s), the institution(s), an abstract (300\u2013400 words) and 3\u20134 keywords. The text must be divided into: introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, references. Articles, of no more than 20 standard pages in Friulian, must be typed in Times New Roman, 12 point, 1.5 line spacing; page margins must be 3 cm on all sides. The introduction, the materials and methods, the results and the discussion should each take up a quarter of the total length of the article.<\/p><p>Reviews. Articles in this section must carry: a title, a running head (max. 45 characters), the author(s), the institution(s), an abstract (300\u2013400 words), 3\u20134 keywords and references. Articles, of no more than 40 standard pages in Friulian only, must be typed in Times New Roman, 12 point, 1.5 line spacing; page margins must be 3 cm on all sides. It is preferable for the text of the article to be divided into 4\u20135 sections, each with its own subheading. Each section should take up a quarter or a fifth of the total length of the article.<\/p><p>Book reviews. Reviews must carry: the author, the title of the book, the place of publication, the publisher and the year of publication. Reviews must be divided into two parts: the first should set out the book&#8217;s principal contributions; the second should give the reviewer&#8217;s assessment of the book. At the end of the text the reviewer&#8217;s forename and surname, institution and e-mail address must be given. Reviews, of no more than 4 standard pages in Friulian only, must be typed in Times New Roman, 12 point, 1.5 line spacing; page margins must be 3 cm on all sides.<\/p><p>References. Authors may be cited in the text as in these examples:<\/p><ul><li>Whitaker (1988) stated \u2026;<\/li><li>Many scholars have found that \u2026 (Whitaker 1977, Paradis 1999, Lebrun 2000).<\/li><\/ul><p>The reference list must follow these examples:<\/p><ul><li>(articles) Paradis M. (1999). One brain two languages. Brain and Language, 33: 125-140.<\/li><li>(books) Whitaker H. (1977). Handbook on Pragmatics. Oxford: Pergamon Press.<\/li><li>(book chapters) Lebrun Y. (2000). Aphasic symptoms in Friulan. In Jakobson R. (Ed) Aphasia in different languages. New York: Academic Press, pp. 243-280.<\/li><\/ul><p>Images. Images with a resolution of less than 300 DPI or measuring less than 8 cm in width will not be accepted. Graphs and tables must be produced in Excel.<\/p><p>Submission of texts.
